being Sean

Life is movement. There must be movement if there are polarities as well as diversities. If everything is the same, there is no motion.
How can I generate movement in the soil so the plant will grow?

How to construct a nutrition system based on pixels, gigabytes, sensors and electric impulses? A mechanism, so complex, that it can perfectly perform its simple function – plant growing.

After building up the satellite dish Sean was ready to monitor the internal communications in the FFPS facility.

Some weeks ago he found out that FFPS keeps Bracken ferns for their own profits. Bracken ferns, which are a weedy fern species growing on disturbed land, have an uncanny ability to grow in soils polluted with heavy metals, like lead, nickel, cadmium, copper and arsenic. That’s why they are very valuable to restore the planets flora and the ideal plant for Sean’s research. As this plant also has the ability to remove heavy metals from industrial sites the company keeps them in their facility.

“Now I just need to wait until I get more information in which area in the facility they keep them.”

Breaking in

Reconnect and reconstruct

After weeks of collecting parts of hardware, designing the control software, constructing the mechanism and finally obtaining the fern Sean was ready to begin the emulating process.

“Before I can start the emulating process I have to calibrate all data in order to simulate the exact biological mechanisms.”

“Strange… the sensors seem to read the information incorrectly. I guess I have to reboot the whole system. I cannot risk to damage this plant.”
